Description
SNMP-L
Long Netagent A Card
While it’s practically unfeasible for any company to maintain continuous surveillance over their UPS units round the clock, PowerMan offers a solution for this issue. Each UPS can be equipped with an SNMP card and accompanying software that can be installed on the server. These SNMP cards efficiently oversee the UPS operations 24/7 and have the capability to dispatch emails or SMS alerts to a maximum of 8 designated individuals in case of incidents (subject to the availability of a dedicated email or SMS server at the site). Additionally, they maintain a comprehensive incident log. Automated server shutdown in the absence of supervision is also an option.
The SNMP provides the following information from the UPS:
- The SNMP Card can be set up for Real Time reporting on incidents that happen. Examples of
notifications of these incidents are as follows:
i. Schedule Shut down Event
ii. UPS Failure
iii. UPS entering Test mode
iv. UPS entering Sleeping mode
v. UPS entering Boost mode
vi. UPS Load Over Loaded
vii. UPS Communication Lost
viii. Turn Off UPS
ix. AC Power Failed
x. UPS Battery Low
xi. UPS Temperature Overrun
xii. UPS Battery Capacity Under run
xiii. UPS entering Bypass mode - Planned information in the form of status results from tests that can be carried out remotely,
as well as providing a daily report on the status of the UPS which shows the content of event
and data logs, in the form of email or SMS. - Viewing the status of the UPS in real time or performing remote testing of certain functions of
the UPS by simply logging into the SNMP Card via your network
