1KVA Line Interactive Outdoor UPS with Internal Battery Pack
The PowerMan outdoor range of UPS is a Line Interactive design. The Line Interactive UPS is designed to interact with the mains to supply a steady flow of power to the computer equipment. A high powered filter is incorporated into the machine to protect against spikes and surges, as well as an automatic voltage regulator to correct high or low voltage fluctuations on the input. The use of an AVR will help to increase the battery life of the UPS as it will be able to switch to battery power at a much lower (or higher) input voltage. The input is monitored and as soon as the mains drops below a pre-set level or fails completely the unit switches to battery inverter. Each UPS is supplied with a software package that will connect to a Comm Port on your computer so that the UPS parameters can be monitored by the user, there are also dry contact signal points and an SNMP network version is available at an extra charge.
