Video Surveillance System licenses should be applied to all security cameras integrated into a HikCentral Professional server. Each channel denotes one camera integrated into the server, irrespective of the method of integration, be it direct or via a recorder. A camera that offers multiple video streams will be regarded as occupying only one channel. Certain specialised camera types necessitate specific camera licenses.
