Functions | Description |
---|---|
4 Signals over 1 Coaxial Cable | HDCVI technology facilitates the transmission of four signalsโvideo, audio* (available for certain models), data, and powerโsimultaneously over a single coaxial cable. Dual-way data transmission allows interaction between HDCVI cameras and HCVR, supporting control signals or alarm triggers. Additionally, HDCVI technology supports PoC for construction flexibility. |
Long Distance Transmission | HDCVI technology ensures real-time transmission over extended distances without signal loss. It supports up to 800m (1080P)/1200m (720P) transmission via coaxial cable and up to 300m (1080P)/450m (720P) via UTP cable*. (*Actual results verified by real-scene testing in Dahua’s test laboratory.) |
Simplicity | Inheriting the simplicity of traditional analog surveillance systems, HDCVI technology offers a seamless upgrade for existing analog systems without replacing coaxial cabling. Its plug-and-play approach allows for full HD video surveillance without the complexities of network configuration, providing investment protection. |
Smart IR | Featuring microcrystalline LED IR illumination for optimal low-light performance, the camera incorporates Smart IR technology to ensure uniform brightness in black and white images under low illumination. It dynamically adjusts the camera’s infrared LEDs’ intensity to compensate for object distance, preventing overexposure as objects approach. |
Multi-formats | The camera supports multiple video formats, including HDCVI, CVBS, and two other prevalent HD analog formats in the market. Users can switch between these formats through the OSD menu or via PFM820 (UTC controller), ensuring compatibility not only with HCVRs but also with most existing HD/SD DVRs. |
Multi-language OSD | The OSD menu offers various image adjustments and function settings to accommodate diverse monitoring scenes. Supporting 11 languages, including Chinese, English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Polish, the OSD menu allows configurations such as backlight mode, day/night, white balance, privacy mask, and motion detect. |
Protection | Designed for extreme temperature environments with a working range of -40 ยฐC to +60ยฐC (-40 ยฐF to +140ยฐF), the camera is resilient. It tolerates a ยฑ30% input voltage and boasts a 4KV lightning rating, safeguarding the camera and its structure against lightning effects. |
