Earth Spike 1.2MM Clamping Systems
An electric fence needs to be earthed in order to operate effectively. The earth spike or earth stake is used to earth the electric fence system. Knock 3 earth spikes /earth stakes into the ground near the electric fence at a minimum of 1.5 m apart and connect these earth spikes/stakes to the energizer using the high tension insulated cable (HT).
Even a powerful energizer will not be effective without good earthing. In areas where earthing conditions are bad you may be required to add a few more earth spikes/stakes along the fence line and connect these back to the energiser
