The KP75 MIFARE® keypad reader is an RFID/Keypad combination device that provides the convenience of contactless authentication or the added security of PIN/Prox entry for system users. These readers are compatible for use with Net2 systems and come equipped with a metal bezel. The wiring configuration for the reader is indicated on the control unit label.
To read a token, simply hold it in close proximity to the reader. Once a token is read, the control unit retrieves the access permissions associated with that user. After verifying the information, the control unit either grants or denies access as necessary.
By default, all three LEDs are illuminated. Access is indicated by the green LED flashing, while denial of access is indicated by the red LED flashing.
