Paxton Net2 Desktop Reader – Mag-stripe – USB

The proximity and mag-stripe desktop reader is designed to be positioned adjacent to the PC. Its primary function is to facilitate the addition of tokens to a Net2 system. Moreover, it serves the purpose of identifying misplaced tokens. Simply connect it to the USB port; no other connections are required. Additional workstations can also be equipped with desktop readers.
When a new token is presented to the desktop reader, the new user wizard will activate, displaying the appropriate card number. At this point, the user can input the name and details of the new user and issue the token.
If a token already registered in the system is presented to the desktop reader, the relevant user’s record will be displayed.
